If you need to charge your 5 volt Electronic accessory on your 12v vehicle,this is the Switching Power Supply that you want.
What makes this Automotive Switching Power Supply great is it's wide range of input voltages while maintaining a steady +5vdc @ 2 amps. You can plug up to 2 USB Cables into the USB Connector or tap the +5vdc power on the screw terminal. This unit has excellent transient protection for your electronics because the output +5vdc is totally isolated from the input. The result is that any voltage spike remains isolated from the input. The chasis ground of the input is not connected to the ground of the output.
Both input and output are fused with ATC fuses.
( This unit comes in 2 mounting configurations, Din Rail Mount and Panel Mount. The panel mount includes Qty 4 standoffs, Qty 4 4-40 3/4" screws and Qty 4 hex nuts. The Din Rail Mount comes with 2 Din Rail Mount adapters for easy Din Rail Installation. )
